A room can hold a memory, a painting can begin a conversation, and an object can carry a story. Amr Attia brings these connections into his work as an artist, writer and interior designer.
Between Egypt and Dubai
Amr is an Egyptian creative based between Egypt and Dubai. His work brings together interior design, original art and writing, with a particular interest in the relationship between a space and the people who inhabit it.
A personal approach to interiors
The starting point is the person behind the project: how they live, what they value and the atmosphere they want to come home to. A favourite story, a meaningful object or a memory can give a design its direction.
Materials, light and character
His visual language draws on dark tones, warm wood, bronze and gold accents, and the meeting of modern and classical forms. Light, texture, furniture and art are considered together so that individual objects belong to the room around them.
